About Us:
We provide food and clothing for any family of Westgate and Green Gables Elementary schools who have a need. We are located in the eastern-most temp building at Westgate Elementary (8550 West Vassar Drive, Lakewood CO 80227). 

What We Need - Volunteers:
The packpack program requires six volunteers every Thursday morning from 11:00am to about 12:30pm. We currently have about 100 students in this program and Thursday mornings is when we gather the food and put away other food donations. 

Volunteers can choose to work during any of the hours when the pantry is open. Taking an open shift requires getting a key from the school office, opening up the pantry, putting out the open sign, and then helping our patrons get what they need. Usually there are clothes to fold and put away or food donations to put away. You lock up and return the key when your shift is over. Every shift matters! What We Need - Supplies:
If you wish to donate to the Westgate Food Pantry we currently need snack food items like granola bars, protein bars, and crackers. We also need toiletries like deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, and toothpaste. Donations can be dropped off at the pantry during open hours or with Danielle Peterson (please email for arrangements).

We also have an Amazon Wish List that lists our current needs and when these items are purchased they are sent to us directly.
